Join Sieda Community Action and United Way of Wapello County at 4:00 pm May 12th, 2016, at the Seeds of Hope and Food Pantry gardens, 310 W. Main Street (behind the parking lot) for a class on making seed bombs.  The class is free and open to the public. All ages are encouraged to participate.

“Come prepared to get your hands dirty,” said Regina Shultz, Sieda Seeds of Hope Garden Program Manager.  “We are making the seed bombs to grow flowers for the bees.  It takes bees to pollinate our vegetables in our gardens and we want to make sure they have plenty of food to keep them around.”

The class will include materials and hands-on instruction to make the seed bombs. At the end of the class, we will scatter some of the seed bombs to help the bees at the garden.

Please pre-register to allow us to have enough materials.  Call Sieda Community Action at 641-664-1911 to reserve your spot or for any questions.
