At Sieda Community Action, we believe a strong education foundation is key to long-term success. As an agency, we want to promote reading and literacy and increase access to books in our communities. To that end, we have built and filled our first little library at our Ottumwa Resource Center and and Corporate Office. Though this is our first library, we hope to have lending libraries at each of the resource centers in Sieda’s seven core counties by Summer of 2017.

Dozens of people have donated hundreds of books to ensure our library is well-stocked a with books for people of all ages, and anyone is free to take a book for their enjoyment . As clients and friends take books, they are welcome to return it and take another, keep it, or share it with a friend. There’s no paperwork or payment of any kind. Just stop by and grab a book for yourself or your family.
