Sieda Behavioral Health and Treatment Services Family Program will be offered starting September 6, 2016. The group will meet every other Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 310 W. Main Street in Ottumwa. This group is open to anyone affected by another person’s substance abuse.
During the meetings, the Sieda Prevention Supervisor will provide educational information in a range of topics related to substance use, such as challenges in recovery, rebuilding trust, and communication.
Addiction impacts not only the substance user but everyone around them including family and friends. It is beneficial for these individuals to gain education about addiction and recovery. The Family Program Group will be an opportunity for individuals to interact with others experiencing the same or similar struggles.
The groups are free to attend and all information from the meetings will remain confidential.
Please contact Behavioral Health and Treatment Services at 641-683-6747 for more information.
