Sieda Behavioral Health and Treatment Services Family Program will now be offered every Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 310 W. Main Street in Ottumwa. This group is open to anyone affected by another person’s substance abuse.  The group is now facilitated by Sieda Behavioral Health and Treatment Services counselor, Sheila Roger, CADC, ICGC II.

The group will provide educational information in a range of topics related to substance use, such as challenges in recovery, rebuilding trust, and communication.

Addiction impacts not only the substance user but everyone around them including family and friends. It is beneficial for these individuals to gain education about addiction and recovery. The Family Program Group will be an opportunity for individuals to interact with others experiencing the same or similar struggles.

The groups are free to attend and all information from the meetings will remain confidential.

Please contact Behavioral Health and Treatment Services at 641-683-6747 for more information.
