The 40th Annual Governor’s Conference on Substance Abuse will be held on April 18 and 19, 2017 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery professionals from all over the state of Iowa will attend the conference. The goal of the conference is to establish a meaningful dialogue among substance abuse prevention, treatment, research, recovery and policy- making communities, by focusing on strategies and tools that can facilitate the development of a strategic response to the various challenges in the field.

Sieda Behavioral Health and Treatment Services will have several team members attending the conference. The members will attend the conference to gain additional skills and knowledge, to build partnerships, and to interact with national and regional leaders in the field of addictions.
