On Saturday, April 8th, community partners in Appanoose County brought their services together to sponsor the Healthy Kids Fair. 

Members of Sieda Community Action Family Support Services helped plan and set up the event, and Sieda staff from Family Support, Behavioral Health, and Seeds of Hope had informational areas available for the participants.

The annual event saw over three-hundred people in attendance this year, as the community gathered to learn about local community resources while also having fun together as a family. Activities at the Sieda booths were provided for children, providing time for the adults to speak with the service providers about the resources Sieda can offer families.

Activities for Child Abuse Prevention Month will continue throughout our seven county region throughout April.
