Staff in Sieda’s Behavioral Health and Treatment Services unit participated in the first ever Sieda Survivor Challenge.  This was a team building event focused on teaching staff several objectives – 1) The value of teamwork and why it’s so important; 2) Increase team problem solving skills; 3) Increase communication and cooperation among team members; and4) teach staff how to relax and destress.  Staff memmbers were divided into four teams and given various tasks to complete.  At the end of each task, all staff members voted on who was the best team player.  The person with the most votes at the end of the training was declared Sieda Survivor Champion.  There was a tie and two staff members were declared winners – Frank Harper and Ben Wyldes.  Feedback from staff was very positive and all were looking forward to Sieda Survivor II.
