In May and June, Sieda Community Action will be out in your communities to discuss our Family Support Services unit, which includes programs such as Parents as Teachers (PAT), MIECHV, and FaDSS. The purpose of these programs is to enchance the social and economic well-being of the families ad children we serve.
Becky Falck, Director of Family Support Services, and members of our Family Support staff will be our presenters of the afternoon.
Following the presentation, we will have a discussion on issues that families are dealing with in each community.
The meetings will take place in each of our seven counties during the afternoon from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
May 23 – Appanoose County – Centerville at the Centerville City Hall
May 24 – Mahaska County – Oskaloosa at the ISU Extension Office
June 1 – Van Buren County – Keosauqua at the Community Service Center
June 2 – Jefferson County – Fairfield at the McElhinney House
June 6 – Keokuk County – Sigourney the Sigourney City Hall
June 7 – Wapello County – Ottumwa at Sieda Community Action, 725 2nd St. W
June 8 – Davis County – Bloomfield at Southern Iowa Electric Co-op
