Sieda Behavioral Health and Treatment Services would like to congratulate Ben Wyldes for achieving designation as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). To become a certified substance abuse counselor, an individual must demonstrate the ability to perform the domains necessary to provide quality client care. The alcohol and drug counselor certification process is based upon a specific measurable process to determine the individual’s ability to demonstrate these competencies. Applicants for certification must also meet established education and experience requirements. The exam consists of 150 multiple choice questions and is focused on the eight domains: Clinical Evaluation, Treatment Planning, Referral, Service Coordination, Counseling, Client/Family/Community Education, Documentation, and Professional/Ethical Responsibilities. Wyldes joins the majority of Sieda counselors with the CADC credential, and his achievement is a testament to his hard work and professionalism.
