Thanks to our partnerships with businesses and organizations, Sieda Community Action was able to provide school supplies to more than 900 students in four Southeast Iowa counties. The School Supply Program helps provide supplies for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade at no cost to the caretakers. To qualify for school supplies, clients must have been income eligible or approved for energy assistance (LIHEAP). The school supplies were distributed at both Sieda offices and partner sites.
“We’re very happy with the support and participation we received for the program. We have reached more students this years than we ever have, and that would not have been possible without the help of community partners.” said Lisa Collins from Sieda.
