Ship Shape Attendance Rate
Congratulations to the Harmony Head Start in Van Buren County for receiving the February “Ship Shape Attendance Rate.” School attendance in all our Sieda Head Starts is an important part of preparing the children for a successful school life. Sieda Head Start provides services in seven counties throughout 26 classrooms in Southeast Iowa. The Sieda Head Start classrooms all participate in the “Ship Shape Attendance Rate” award to strengthen and encourage the children in Head Start.
Harmony Head Start received their special certificate, the travel trophy and games, stick and finger puppets, “Paddington Set Sail” book, and items for dramatic play. The children in teachers Jennifer Hale and Raye Ann Farris immediately enjoyed their new dressing up items.
Great job Harmony Head Start. Congratulations from all of us!
