Sieda Head Start has a Superhero Volunteer

Sieda Head Start and all of Sieda Community Action would like to thank an amazing parent. Natasha Repp is a mother from Appanoose County that has been using her time and energy to help with many different parts of our Head Start. She has not only been involved with the Appanoose County Head Start center but with meetings in her county and council meetings at our main office in Wapello County.

Sieda Head Start Program has been tracking Natasha’s volunteer hours and dollars since December of 2010. Natasha has volunteered 1253.24 hours. Her time is equal to $20,749.88. She has gone over and beyond in her involvement to Head Start and has been an incredible asset. She has attended Policy Council meetings for 3 years, 2 of the years as a non-voting member. Natasha regularly attends county parent committee meetings, the center’s literacy events, individual home educational activities, and volunteers in the classroom.

Sadly this will be Natasha’s last year with us as a parent. She was acknowledged at the Head Start Policy Council meeting with a certificate and a gift card to one of her favorite places to shop. Thank you for being an awesome Head Start superhero!
