Christmas Programs Across the Counties

Sieda Community Action is working hard to secure the opportunity for low-income families to receive in some way a gift for Christmas. We have programs in December for the pre-qualified low-income senior households in several counties. As well as Christmas toy giving for children in low-income homes in other counties. Then for others in the home being qualified for Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) or finding a coat from our Share the Warmth Coat Drive.

With help from partnerships and donations, Sieda is reaching individuals and families at Christmas. After all, this season stretches even the financially secure. It is a difficult time of year with increased heating costs, needing extra layers of clothing to stay warm, and Christmas giving. This is especially difficult for those who are in need. Mixing the stress of financial woes with the needs of this time of year can be a lot to handle. Sieda and our partnering groups recognize this fact and are giving aid.

Sieda and other groups are trying to meet that need in 2018. Listed is county information on the programs we have at one of our centers or at a partnering group.
