The last months of preschool were busy before the summer break for the preschool students and their families. Our Sieda’s Head Start Centers, as well as our Partnership school classes, shared a lot of great activities, events, and creative learning with us. Click the pictures to enlarge.
Harmony School District & Sieda Head Start
Harmony School District and Sieda Head Start is one of the partnerships we have in Van Buren County. With this partnership, the preschool class took a field trip to Raye-Ann Farris’ farm when finishing up a lesson on farm animals.
Jefferson County Sieda Head Start
The Jefferson County Sieda Head Start had a variety of field trips this spring. They first visited the new Sieda Head Start location that we’re moving into this summer. The class also had a chance to visit the Libertyville Savings Bank in Fairfield to learn about the bank and how it works.
Cardinal School District & Sieda Head Start
Cardinal School District and Sieda Head Start are partnered to provide preschool education in Wapello County. The children were able to see a large variety of farm animals and some impressive farm equipment on AG Day at Cardinal. They also had a “Dads and Dudes” game day in the classroom.
Mahaska County Sieda Head Start
The Mahaska County Sieda Head Start had a surprise visitor come in to visit this spring. The bunny was a surprise to both teachers and the preschool students.
Appanoose County Sieda Head Start
The preschool classes were busy this spring when the weather warmed up. The children explored the playground for bugs and flew kites with their father figures. They kept busy indoors learning about baking bread with creative bread volcanos and having their family visit to learn, create, and try fun foods.
Pickwick Early Childhood Center (PECC) & Sieda Head Start
PECC is the second school district partnership Sieda Head Start has in Wapello County. The preschool center holds Art and P.E. classes. To finish off the school year the preschoolers had a day full of fun and adventures activities during their Field Day.
