National Wear Red Day is on February 5th, 2021, and occurs each year to raise awareness about heart disease. What can you do to be more heart-healthy & protect your heart? Here are some risks and ways to reduce those risks.

Did you know your heart disease risk increases with factors that are largely preventable?  At the top of both lists is smoking.

If you smoke or use tobacco products the Quitline of Iowa is available for ages 13 & up at 1-800-Q UIT-NOW or text “Start My Quit” to 855.891.9989.
