Wipfli LLP released the annual audit report on Southern Iowa Economic Development Association doing business as Sieda Community Action in Ottumwa, Iowa. Sieda’s financial statements, as audited by Wipfli LLP, reported that the Agency had revenues of $12,010,592 for the year ended June 30, 2021, which was a 20.9% increase from the prior year. Support included $11,543,883 from governmental funding sources, $311,307 from in-kind contributions, and $155,402 from other sources.

Expenditures for the Agency totaled $11,758,057 which was a 17.9% increase from the prior year. Programs administered by Sieda include $811,000 for Community Services Programs, $3,526,211 for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Programs, $3,728,196 for Child Education, and $1,310,674 for Substance Use Disorder Programs. The audit reported no findings or material weaknesses.
