April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.  This year’s theme is “Thriving Children and Families: Prevention With Purpose”.  All families need help sometimes.  Thriving families depend on strong support systems which can come from family, friends, neighbors, and other people in the community.  By providing families with equal opportunities and access to the support they need, we can help improve the safety and well-being of children and youth.

Sieda envisions communities of resilient citizens who are involved, self-reliant, and contribute positively to their families and communities. That means all of our programs strive to support families to make healthier households to prevent child abuse, maltreatment, and neglect.
