World No Tobacco Day will be held on May 31, 2022. WHO (World Health Organization) has announced the 2022 global campaign for World No Tobacco Day theme is Tobacco is a threat to our environment.

Throughout its life cycle, tobacco pollutes the planet and damages the health of all people. Tobacco kills over 8 million people every year and destroys our environment. The campaign is aimed to raise awareness among the public on the environmental impact of tobacco – from cultivation, production, distribution, and waste.
