The Great American Smokeout occurs annually on the third Thursday of November. This year it lands on November 17, 2022. The American Cancer Society sponsors the Great American Smokeout, challenging smokers to give up cigarettes for 24 hours. This event brings people together in the spirit of quitting and helps to raise awareness of the dangers of smoking. Sieda Tobacco Prevention is partnered with this and other organizations to help you find support & resources.
