These Sieda Head Start team members have put forth a great amount of effort and worked many hours towards earning this credential. Most importantly, those who earn the CDA credential are well prepared to nurture young children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. 

What is the CDA Credential? It is the most widely recognized, national credential earned by those working in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Thus, earning points on Iowa’s Quality Rating System (QRS). Since 1971, CDA credentials have only been awarded to date to just over 800,000 around the country.

This is a major step for our staff. We are proud of them and thankful to have them as part of our team!
