Classes are offered for individuals who have been arrested for driving while intoxicated.  The program helps participants estimate their level of risk for developing alcohol or other drug problems.  It also helps the participant to develop a specific action plan to avoid further problems with alcohol or drugs and complies with the Iowa Department of Education and the Iowa Department of Transportation  requirements under Iowa Law 321J2 and 321J17.

Class Details

The class, required by the court system prior to the return of the individual’s driver’s privileges, is 12 hours in length.  The classes are conducted on the weekend.

Cost

A standard fee is charged and is not based on family income.
