Sieda Child Development Department, and the entire Sieda agency, would like to send out congratulations to Paige Bolin, Misty Glandon, Susan Richardson, and Glenda Widmer. The four completed their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
These Sieda team members have put forth much effort and worked many hours towards earning this credential. Most importantly, those who earn the CDA credential are well prepared to foster young children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
What is the CDA Credential? It is the most widely recognized, national credential earned by those working in early childhood education (ECE). Thus, earning points on Iowa’s Quality Rating System (QRS). Since 1971, CDA credentials have been awarded to as few as 420,000 around the country.
