We have 2 Child Development Head Start staff that are moving from being Teacher Assistants to now being Teachers. They both pursued teaching degree’s and have meet the education requirements to be Head Start Teachers.
Dana Belzer, Assistant Director of Child Development, shared, “I am so proud of the growth that Jodie and Kara have made within our Head Start program. They each have brought new and creative ways to teach our youngest learners. I can’t wait to see what each of them do next!”
Kara Anderson has been with Sieda nearly 3-years, she was a Teacher Assistant for Mahaska County Head Start and starting August 14th, 2023 will be a Travel Teacher for Wapello County.
Jodie Bedner has been with Sieda for over 7-years. She was a Teacher Assistant at the Head Start partner Cardinal Schools and starting August 7th, 2023 will be a teacher at the Head Start/Cardinal Schools.
